Celandine Hall is a Grade II listed building in Harbour Street, formerly a toy shop and drapers, that had undergone significant alterations over the years. The building had been closed since 2014 and was in a poor state of repair. However, the Harbour Street building was then acquired and the new developers worked with the Council to develop proposals for its refurbishment.

Celandine Hall’s developers subsequently received a capital grant of £150,000 from the HSHAZ programme, towards the conservation and repair of the building and to bring it back into use and re-activate this part of Harbour Street. The works were completed in late 2021, and the building was subsequently let to the Modern Boulangerie in 2022.
