Palm Bay

Brief description

This sandy bay runs between Walpole Bay and Botany Bay and is accessible via two steep slopes.  The cliffs have a concrete seawall that runs up to Foreness Point.  The area has sand and chalk reef visible at low tide, but at high tide there is very little sand visible.

There is ample on-street parking and there are areas nearby suitable for a unit base.

Toilets

There are no public facilities within walking distance of the beach. The only facilities available locally would have to be arranged with the local businesses.

Food/Drink

Kiosk at Walpole Bay provides tea, coffee and snacks. Walpole Bay Hotel has a restaurant and bar food is available and very close by.
