Change the way you pay or update your details
If you have received a recovery notice for a previous year balance, and you wish to set up a Direct Debit to pay this balance, you need to also complete a special payment arrangement form
PermalinkThe instalment date which is on your bill is the date by which it should have reached your Council Tax account, so you should make arrangements to make sure that the money arrives in time.
If you haven’t spoken to us about a problem paying your bill, and you miss an instalment, we will ask you for payment.
Please see the arrears and debt recovery pages for information about what happens if Council Tax isn’t paid on time.
PermalinkIf you have difficulty paying your Council Tax at any time, please contact us straight away. We are here to help, but once a summons has been issued the options are limited, and payment arrangements will include costs.
