Customer Appointments
Council Services are available by pre-booked appointments from Thanet Gateway from 10am until 2pm, Monday to Friday. To book an appointment please contact us on 01843 577000.
Appointments are best suited to complicated enquiries that cannot be dealt with over the telephone or using our website.

Please contact our customer service team on 01843 577000, we will ask you for some details. If you need to come into the offices we will then book an appointment for you.

It depends on how complicated your enquiry is but we will always try and make sure we book enough time to deal thoroughly with your concern. Normally appointments will be booked to last for 30 minutes.

We will only be able to see you if you are no more than 10 minutes late for your appointment. You will only be given the remainder of your allocated time to prevent us running late with the next appointment.

It’s important that you contact us as soon as possible on 01843 577000. This is so we can move your appointment to the nearest available time or, if you want to cancel it, offer the appointment time to someone else.

We will see if there are any available appointments. If there are, we can book you in. If are not able to offer a suitable appointment we will try and find alternative ways to help you resolve your enquiry or arrange another appointment for you.

We are trying to avoid anyone waiting for long periods to see our advisors. Most other public services have moved to appointments or a telephone only service to help with customer enquiries. Moving to pre-booked appointments will help us to still provide a face to face service for those who need to see an advisor, whilst making sure that we have advisors in the right place at the right time to help you.
