Brief description
This quiet sandy bay is accessed via a steep slope. Entrance can be made from Granville Road/Victoria Road or from steps next to the foot bridge in Victoria Gardens. The seawall surrounds the bay which starts in Ramsgate and finishes at Viking Bay. This is one of the smallest bays along the coast line. At high tide the sea reaches the sea wall.
Facilities
Parking
Permission can be arranged for a few vehicles to park on the seawall but this is limited due to access issues (Vehicles need to fit under the bridge and be able to negotiate the steep slope and turn at the bottom).
Toilets
Seasonal opening from 10 April to 10 September in Victoria Gardens
Food/Drink
A kiosk on Louisa Bay provides tea, coffee and snacks, and is open between April and September. There are a number of cafés within a short walking distance of the bay.
