Cemeteries & Crematoriums in Thanet

Thanet District Council owns and manages:

Cemetery Opening Times

Margate Cemetery grounds are open daily until dusk or 8.30pm, whichever is the earlier.
Ramsgate Cemetery grounds and memorial chapel are open daily until dusk or 8.30pm, whichever is the earlier.
Cars are not admitted unless accompanying a funeral.

Help with bereavement

Most people prefer to let a Funeral Director make all of the arrangements for them. They have trained staff who can provide a comprehensive service, including making all the your arrangements with the Council.
