Land at Jackey Bakers Sports Ground/Rose Farm Ramsgate

Notice of Proposal to Dispose of Certain land by way of Exchange.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 123 of the Local Government  Act 1972 that the Thanet District Council proposes to exchange approximately  31,323 square metres of Jackey Bakers Sports Ground with approximately  34,464 square metres of adjoining farm land for the purpose of providing a new road and improving access to Eurokent Business Park.  The adjoining farm land  will be put to use as sports field land.  Copies of a plan indicating the position of the land concerned are available for inspection during the usual office hours at the Council Offices Cecil Street Margate.

Any person wishing to object to the proposal of the District Council to exchange the said land for whatever reason should do so in writing addressed to  the Legal Services Manager, Thanet District Council, Council Offices, Cecil Street, Margate CT9 1XZ (Ref JS/BHM/Legal) setting out the grounds for such objection by no later than 5^th April 2006
