Project overview – a hub for skills and enterprise in Ramsgate
As part of the Thanet Regeneration Programme, we’re building a brand new Green Campus on Military Road in Ramsgate. It will be a vibrant space for local training, enterprise, and light industry.
A public exhibition was held in May 2024. The current designs were developed by Hazle McCormack Young (HMY) Architects.

The planning application for the Green Campus near the Port of Ramsgate was published on Friday 15 September 2025. The planning application is for the erection of three buildings, access, landscaping and parking.
Thanet District Council aims to deliver two buildings as part of the grant funding; the third building will need funding from other sources. You can read the planning application on the Planning Portal, using reference number F/TH/25/0961. A decision is expected in spring 2026.
