This is a large sandy beach there are concession located on the right hand side. The beach is located at the bottom of the town and has a harbour.

- Toilets are located on the beach and above next to the bandstand; Toilets on the beach are currently closed until further notice. The bandstand toilets Winter opening times – 8:00am-4:10pm (Disabled toilet only but accessible for all), Summer Opening Times – 8:00am-7:20pm

Considerations
In wet season, an event organiser may be given 2 weeks’ notice from TDC that they will not be able to use the site. Event organisers need to have a contingency plan for relocating their event in the circumstance of adverse conditions.
