Strategic housing new developments phase 1

Phase 1 Margate, St Peters Broadstairs

Phase 1 was a £2.5million redevelopment of five sites within the established residential area of Margate and St. Peters, Broadstairs. The redevelopment has been completed, providing 11 homes on parcels of land currently or historically providing blocks of garages. These are a mixture of flats, houses and bungalows.  The work was carried out by contractor W W Martin following open procurement through the Kent Business Portal in 2017.

        Perkins Avenue, Margate

The redevelopment has provided two, much needed family homes and prevented further vandalism and fly tipping on the under used garage site.

Two three-bedroomed family houses (for households of five people), with parking and rear gardens.

The site used to be two rows of garages, one of which was demolished and the other was kept. The area is already heavily parked which is why the site was not developed more intensively.
