Ramsgate regeneration projects on view at public event
Thanet District Council is inviting members of the public to learn more about Ramsgate’s Levelling Up Fund regeneration projects.
A public drop-in session will take place on Tuesday 18 July, between 2pm and 7pm, at the Crane Shed, West Crosswall near to the West Pier in Ramsgate Harbour (What3Words reference: sober.hike.zoom).
There will be boards on display showing sketches of the proposed plans. Architects and designers will be on hand to answer questions and there will be an opportunity to give initial feedback on some of the proposals.
Following the event, the displays will move to Arts in Ramsgate, 46 High Street, Ramsgate CT11 9AG, where they will be on show during the Happy Mondays sessions for a further two weeks. It will also be possible to submit feedback during this period, both online and via paper feedback forms.
Thanet District Council was awarded £19.8 million for Ramsgate in October 2021, through the government’s Levelling Up Fund.

Recycling is one way that we can all do our bit for the environment. In Thanet most households already have a weekly food waste recycling collection as well as having paper and card plus glass, tins and plastic collected every two weeks as well. These properties have their general waste (black bin) collected fortnightly.
Preparation for spring is underway across the district, starting with our annual sand levelling programme.
