Monkton

Brief description

Monkton is a small village on the south-west edge of the Thanet area. The village consists of a primary school, the church of St Mary Magdelene, The Foxhunter Park (holiday caravan park) and The White Stag pub and restaurant. On the outskirts is the Monkton Nature Reserve which is also home to the Thanet Observatory.
