Stone Bay

Brief description

This beach has beach huts from April to September. Access is via steps from Eastern Esplanade, or for vehicles access is down a steep slope which includes a hairpin bend.  The bay is surrounded by white chalk cliffs. Part of the bay is protected by a concrete sea wall/ promenade.  This is a quiet bay which makes the most of the sunshine in the earlier part of the day. At high tide the bay is completely covered by the sea.
