Action Against Litter Newsletter – Issue 7
A visit to Thanet’s coastline is a wonderful way to explore the coastline environment and the wide variety of marine life, birds and wildlife it hosts.
Educational visits can see evidence of coastal erosion, run beach inspired activities, participate in a beach clean, use the online educational toolkit, or just visit for general coastal leisure opportunities.
The Thanet Coast Project can assist with activities like Seashore Safaris (over Low Tide times only) or Scavenger Hunts & Beach Art.
For more information, please submit school/group details on the online booking form or contact for availability at: thanet.coast@thanet.gov.uk
Educational online toolkit: A free online educational toolkit for KS1 and KS2 is available for four of our beaches at Minnis Bay, Joss Bay, & both Margate & Ramsgate Main Sands.
