Fees and charges
Notes for Guidance
Where there is a commercial activity, market rates should be set to maximise income yet remain competitive. For example mooring fees at Ramsgate Harbour, regard should be had for market conditions and demand for berths.
Where fees are levied for services that should break even over a 3 year period, (quasi trading accounts) such as the Building Control Account and Land Charges, consideration should be given to reducing the non-statutory element where there is a potential over-recovery.
The fees and charges are available as a PDF and CSV download. If you would like this information in another format please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
