Cllr John Worrow steps down from council
Councillor John Worrow resigned as a councillor for Garlinge Ward on Monday 1 September 2025.
As a result of his resignation, a vacancy is automatically created and Full Council does not need to declare the vacancy.
A Notice of Vacancy is displayed at the council office in Cecil Street, Margate and on the council’s website. Once a Request for Election has been received from two registered electors from Garlinge Ward, a by-election must be held within 35 working days.
