Poster Design Competition
We all see litter everyday: plastic bags blowing around in the wind. Empty crisp packets at the park, even plastic bottles on the beach!
When people don’t put their rubbish in the bin, it can hurt plants and animals. And it just makes everywhere look a bit, well… rubbish!
Theme
We want to stop people littering but we need your help.
We need you to make some bright, brilliant, colourful A4 posters that show people how bad littering is, and make them think twice about dropping their rubbish on the floor.
The winning design will be used in our district wide campaign to help encourage people not to litter.
Oh, and we almost forgot…
You will get a PRIZE if your poster wins.

Terms and Conditions
- Entries close on Monday 12 September 2022.
- Post entries to Thanet District Council, PO BOX 9, Cecil Street, Margate, CT9 1XZ.
- Competition is open to school children within Thanet District Only.
- All entries must be original and in colour on the template provided.
- All entries must have all the details completed.
- All entries must correspond with the litter prevention theme described.
- Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
- The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained into.
- All entries received will be the property of Thanet District Council and Stagecoach.
- By participating in this competition, you agree to surrender your artwork to Thanet District Council and Stagecoach. We reserve the right to alter or omit certain aspects/elements of the design for use in their publications.
