Mixed Recycling

We are changing the way we collect recycling for some residents!

From w/c Monday 20 January 2025 residents in certain flats or apartments will be able to put all their recycling in one bin.

This means that they will be able to put plastic, glass, tins and cans, and paper and cardboard in the same bin.

The material still needs to be loose in the bin but it can be collected in the same bag or container in the home and tipped into the specified communal bin.

We aren’t changing the materials that we can collect, or the day that we collect it.

There will be new signs on the bins that make it clear that mixed recycling and paper & cardboard can go into the same bin.
