Car park permits for Thanet residents
Thanet residents are eligible for discounted car parking in selected car parks from April until the end of October 2018.
The scheme, which was also in place last summer allows residents to purchase permits which cover a whole day’s parking. They cost £2.50 each or £40 for a book of 20, providing a great saving on listed charges.
There are 5 car parks included in the scheme, these are:
- Albion Street Broadstairs
- Broadstairs Harbour Broadstairs
- Chandos Square Broadstairs
- Joss Bay Broadstairs
- Marina Esplanade Ramsgate
Proof of Thanet residency e.g. a council tax or utility bill and I.D. e.g. driving licence, is required when purchasing the permits.
The permits can be purchased from the Gateway, Cecil Street, Margate.
The following car parks are also free on Saturdays year round
- Mill Lane Multi-Storey, Margate
- Harold Road, Cliftonville
- Vere Road, Broadstairs
- Cannon Road, Ramsgate
