Granville Theatre, Ramsgate, transferred to new owners
We are delighted that today, Monday 24 October, we have completed on the sale of the Granville Theatre in Ramsgate.
The building has now been transferred into the ownership of Westwood One Ltd, a local family-run organisation with experience of operating successful businesses in Thanet. Under their ownership, the theatre will be refurbished to provide a high quality production, dance and cinema space for the communities of Ramsgate and the wider district.
The building has been purchased for £125,000 plus the council’s surveyors fees.
Westwood One Ltd will be announcing their exciting plans for the building, and how they will build on the Granville Theatre’s heritage as a community hub for culture and the performing arts.
