- Statement of Accounts 2024/25 – The audit of the council’s financial statements for the year ending 31 March 2025 has been completed and a copy of the auditor’s report is included within the Statement of Accounts 2024/25 (commencing on page 22). External Audit cannot formally conclude the audit and issue an audit certificate for Thanet District Council for the year ended 31 March 2025 in accordance with the requirements of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 and the Code of Audit Practice until they have completed their consideration of an objection brought to their attention by a local authority elector under section 27 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014. Once this matter is resolved, a notice will be published stating the audit has been concluded.
